Gracie Barra SoCal Invitational Championship
Tournament was held last Saturday at Irvine Valley College
Over 300 athletes of dozens Gracie Barra schools attended to their first internal tournament on this Saturday, October 25, at Irvine Valley College, Orange County, CA.
Gracie Barra Santa Barbara was represented by 6 students and all had a great participation at the tournament.
White belt light weight Lane Kinkade took fist place after beating 4 oponents by submission. White belt Sunny Lintag fought well and brought home a siver medal on the Feather weight division.
Our dear Sheriff, Gabriel Alvarez, put all his heart on the mat and won 4 matches! He was awarded with the bronze medal at the white belt Middle-Heavy Weight division.
Other other 3 athletes, Tommy “Gun”, Bob “Augu” Marley and Tony “BOPE” Diaz also did a great great job representing our school.
